Designated Area Migration Agreement

The following local government areas of the Southern NSW and ACT region are now included in the RDA Orana Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA):

  • Wingecarribee

  • Goulburn-Mulwaree

  • Yass Valley

  • Upper Lachlan

  • Hilltops

  • Queanbeyan-Palerang

  • Snowy-Monaro.

The RDA Orana DAMA was approved in 2019. Now in its fifth year and granted a 12-month extension with territory expansion, we are pleased to add this as a solution to the skills crisis for our regional businesses. The DAMA will provide businesses with an avenue to address current workforce shortages and to support future workforce planning where all local options have been exhausted.

Being an Inland DAMA we understand some businesses in our new coastal regions may wish us to advocate to be included. Please contact migration@rdasna.org.au to express your interest.
