Who we are

Regional Development Australia Southern NSW and ACT (RDA Southern NSW and ACT) is part of a national network of 50 committees across Australia’s capital cities and regions, including the Indian Ocean Territories, Norfolk Island and Jervis Bay Territory. These committees are made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the development of regional Australia.

We are a Board of local leaders and staff, passionate about the communities we live in and committed to the RDASNA vision - that the Southern NSW and ACT region is the most desirable place to invest, work, live and play by 2025.

Our role is to support the LGA’s in the Southern NSW and ACT region, including Wingecarribee, Goulburn-Mulwaree, Upper Lachlan, Yass Valley, Hilltops, Queanbeyan-Palerang, Snowy Monaro, Eurobodalla and Bega Valley, plus the Australian Capital Territory.

RDA Southern NSW and ACT is administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development Communications and the Arts.
