Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) Foundation Community Futures Grants worth $25,000 are available to young persons (35 years or under) residing in a rural area and working with a community organisation to address a rural or regional issue.
The young person needs to:
- Identify a need in their rural NSW community
- Partner with a local community organisation
- Create a project plan for your initiative
The RASF will consider ideas that deliver strong community benefits and result in enhanced economic and social outcomes. Projects that involve collaboration between people in your town and deliver sustained and broad community benefit will be highly regarded. Applicants will be passionate about rural and regional NSW, well-connected with other local leaders and have a good understanding of the issues affecting their community.
Applications the the RASF grants close 5pm, 6th December 2015.
The South Coast Producers Association (SCPA) would be interested in partnering with a young person on a project that addresses a real local need while improving regional food security and assisting local producers. Please contact SCPA at email@example.com to begin a conversation.
