The Power of A Plan
What would you would like to achieve in the next 12 months? Your chances of achieving these goals improve dramatically as soon as you write them down. Why?
- Writing down your goals forces you to clarify your thinking, visualize and prioritize exactly what you want.
- A written plan allows you to share your ideas with others and gain their support.
- When you write down your goals, your attitude changes in a positive way. You feel more in control. When your goals and plans are in writing you are 100% more likely to achieve them.
How To Plan
Start by having a look at where you are today. Are you happy? What’s going well, what needs improvement? Next, work out where you’d like to be in 12 months, 2 years or 5 years. Be bold, be specific. Now, map out the pathway that joins today with tomorrow.
Look at the basics – yourself, your product, your marketing, your team and your environment. Consider how to optimize each of these and write down the actions required. Pick a project to get started, set a timeframe and focus on getting it done. Not perfectly, just done!
